Pole dance is a unique exercise that combines full body strength with flexibility and grace. Attending class just 2 or 3 times per week for 3 months will absolutely change your body and can even change your brain.

If you spent any of your childhood on a playground, you'll know there's something about spinning that soothes the soul; we are drawn as humans to spin. Intrigued by this notion, researchers recently studied the effects of spinning on the brain, and it has been shown that spinning can actually decrease anxiety and depression in some people. Pole is one of the only sports in the world that incorporates exercise with gentle spinning, making it uniquely poised to boost your health journey.

Studies have also shown that activating the brain with complex puzzles during exercise can actually boost your age-fighting brain chemicals (BDNF for all you big-brained folks out there) Meaning that you can actually dance yourself to a younger, healthier, more active brain in our choreography classes.


Led by our very own polespindoc, Dr. Betsy Myers, the talented, experienced, and certified pole instructors at Pole Impact have worked hard to curate a wide range of classes that uniquely blend together to build strength, flexibility, and self-confidence while attending to your mental health.

We created our studio not to make gobs of money but give back to our community and especially to the veterans that have given so much.
